Bullberry Kennel is a Slovakia-based breeding program with an active presence in Hungary, focused on the purposeful and high-quality breeding of Standard and Classic American Bullies.

For us, breeding goes far beyond appearance — health, mental stability, and overall quality of life are the foundation of every decision we make.

We have been working with bull-type dogs since the 1990s, and since 2019 our focus has been exclusively on the American Bully breed.

In 2025, a long-awaited milestone was reached with the arrival of our first litter — since then, every pairing is planned with intention, responsibility, and passion.

All of our dogs are registered with the American Bully Kennel Club (ABKC), ensuring full transparency and documented pedigrees.

Why the American Bully?

The American Bully is a modern breed developed in the United States with the goal of creating a powerful-looking yet stable, family-oriented companion.

It is not a traditional working dog, but a loyal companion that forms a strong bond with its owner.

For us, the American Bully is more than a breed — it is a lifestyle. Calm, confident, intelligent, and deeply affectionate, they are ideal family dogs.

They adapt well to everyday environments, are patient with children, and at the same time naturally protective when needed.

This balance of strength, stability, and affection is what we aim to preserve in our breeding program.

Standard and Classic – a Conscious Breeding Direction

The American Bully comes in several size variations, each with its own value.

As breeders, however, we believe it is our responsibility to focus on the direction that best supports long-term health and balance.

For us, the Standard and Classic sizes represent the ideal structure — well-balanced, athletic dogs with natural movement and a stable temperament.

We consider this the true middle ground: not extreme, yet still maintaining the strong and characteristic appearance of the American Bully.

Our decision does not exclude other types, but reflects a conscious, health-focused breeding philosophy.

Health, lifestyle and responsible care

At Bullberry Kennel, dogs are family members. Our goal is to raise puppies that start life with stable temperaments, strong genetic foundations, and proper socialization.

Our dogs come from carefully selected, proven bloodlines that provide a solid genetic base.

We place strong emphasis on maintaining a low coefficient of inbreeding (COI), supporting long-term health and genetic stability.

All breeding dogs undergo comprehensive health screenings and genetic testing, including Embark DNA testing, helping us identify and manage hereditary conditions responsibly.

In addition, we focus on high-quality nutrition, structured daily routines, and mental balance — because true quality starts in the details.
